Even my monitor doesn't switch on when I start my pc. I always switch on and off and then start, then only it starts and rest everything is ok.

Caution: Switch off power supply when connecting power supply
see that all power cables are connected properly.
if there is no problem in system start up then ur system should beep once(small beep) .
if you sound continuous beep then check ur RAM are properly fitted in ur motherboard slot or not.(caution:check after switching off ur system and removing power supply)
if it doesn't beep at all then there might be some other problems may be due to some loose connection in motherboard.

i think u have problems with urs ram
try using other ram before doing any thing to urs pc
