Unlikely. The minimum requirements specify at least a 800Mhz processor and 512 Mb Ram. Thats a multiple times higher than the spec you have. A P3 processor seems to be the minimum processor you'll need - the 486 is 4 generations before even that.

Hy,
You cannot install Vista on your 486 because you will need at least 800MHz and 512 MB of ram memory.

If you want it to take a week to load up, and a day for the start menu to come up, by all means try it :-p

However it's likely the installer will do a hardware check and tell you it's not worth it.

no it will not work you need atleast 512mb of ram
