Watching flash, with videos or cartoons or websites or whatever. I know that your internet speed judges how fast it takes to load but does loading flash videos etc count as a download? I have a download limit and I was just wondering if it would count as a download, so I can see if I have to limit myself on youtube etc.

If you have a download limit, that might mean that your ISP sets a cap on how much data you can download within a specific time span. Exceeding that limit might mean extra charges billed you, or lower bandwidth until the next period begins.

In any case, downloading a page, a file, or viewing flash films will be counted as usage and thus affect how much you can download. All data flowing into your computer through the network is counted.

I would recommend you ask your provider just to be sure how they count usage on your subscription.

Yes. Even browsing the sites is counted as downloading.

I would have thought yes, but to be sure you could ring or email your ISP.
That information might also be available on your ISPs web site.

When I pass my download limit (I do every month), no extra charge is added.
Instead they just slow down your speed.
Still that's better than a shocker-bill.
