Three possibilities, at least:
1. Your local library, but they may not keep newspapers from that long ago
2. Ask your local paper, I find it easiest to actually call at the office for this and be quietly persistent. You may be charged a fee.
3. The British library, details attached, it's easy to get a pass, just needs patience and persistence.
4. You might get someone with a British library pass to do it for you: expect to pay a fee.

Check out your local library.
There is also the British Library near Kings Cross, London. Give them a call, as they have a massive newspaper archive - the main local papers will be stored there.

Normally Libraries have old newspapers stored on microfilm (that is if they have not been converted to a digital format yet). If not available in your local library they should be able to tell you where they are stored. alternatively many newspapers let you search their archives on request-so contact the paper.

I'm guessing from your local paper. There's kind of a clue in the question.

Have you tried the public library...usually they have all that stuff on microfiche shoot they probably have it all scanned into a data base these days. Otherwise call the news paper...I'm sure they have every paper every published stored in a computer somewhere.

Most local press offices keep an archive - sometimes on microfiche. Contact your local newspaper.

Almost all newspapers archive back issues in some way. they might have it on an old microfiche and be able to bring it up on a printer.
