Yes, if you want it to. ANything you undertake can make you a better person. A new job, A membership at a fitness club, a course in night school. Love can make you a better person IF you want to be a better person. You have to start with the premise that you love yourself and can you not then be a better person without benefit of being in love with another person? The world is made up with people who feel that there life might come to an end if they don't have a relationship, or aren't in love.. So being in love can make you a better person so long as you loved yourself to begin with, no love within translates to all kinds of issues in a relationship... I'll stop here, because I could go deeper with the response... I am in love.. it is wonderful and it's made me a better person.. more of what I would have been..but I started with self love first.. and it is not the sum total of who I am..

Better as in health, yes. Tests have shown that. But better as in temperament, not likely. Too many people equate the good feeling of love with what happens in a relationship which really puts your feelings, good and bad, to the test. If your have tendencies toward possessiveness, jealously, anger when disappointed...etc...love will not help, and being in a love relationship may aggravate the behaviour. Love can add to the good behaviour qualities that already exist...making you seem like a better person but in reality, you just are in a position to have that good behaviour more manifest.

Yes - Absolutely!
God is Love.
When you are in Love you see things through the eyes of the divine - this makes you more understanding of all that you encounter and everyone you meet.
This makes you a 'better person' because you are then happier and healthier. And happiness is contagious - so you pass its goodness on to others who are also made 'better' by it - they pass it on to others who passs it on... and so on...
So being in Love not only makes you a better person; it makes everyone else somewhat 'better'.
This is the greatest gift that you can give to the world because the nature of Love is such that the only way that you can be 'in Love' is to find someone to give your Love to (it starts with Loving yourself and yet it is not selfish), and, the more Love you give the more you get... that means you have more to give which means you get still more and then have even more to give... and so on - because then you are truly 'in Love' as everything you see is beautiful and loving.

Being 'in Love' not only makes you better - this is the best that you can be.

No. It creates a weakness in you that puts the other person in control of your ups and downs. If that person you "love" is a jerk, you could really get hurt. Be careful who you love because they may not love you back.

Depends on the person you are in love with. If they don't love you back and you have a tendancy to be obsessive might make you a stalker.

yes, it makes me a better person, because, i see someone happy being with me and iam happy too, it is a kind of give and take equally shared. Creates comfort and feels good.

yes i think so, coz when u fall in love you automatic change everything , u start to look the world with other eyes... so i think it makes u fell better and love yourself more than usual!
