No man could take it from him he freely gave his life for you. Following Jesus and believing in Him has nothing to do with who crucified Him. Jesus was a Jew Himself. It wasn't the nation that had Him put to death. It was the Jewish religious leaders that were scared by His prophecies and knowledge. They were waiting for the Messiah to come but as a great king with wealth and power. Not a humble child born to a young virgin. This was difficult for them to understand. These leaders ordered for His crucifixion and it was the Romans that followed through with it.
