If an egg was fertilized, implantation (when the embryo implants to the lining of your uterus) happens, on average, about 7 days past ovulation. It can happen as early as five days past ovulation or as late as twelve days past ovulation.

Early signs of Pregnancy:

Nausea/vomiting
Headache
Food cravings
Heightened sense of smell
Missed period
Backache
Crampy
Extreme fatigue
Tender/swollen breasts
Frequent trips to the bathroom

These signs can appear as soon as implantation or anytime after, each woman is different! Some women have all of these, some have a few and some women don't have any signs.
Good Luck!

cramps are common in the first 12 weeks. I had them at 6 weeks and I freaked out cos I thought I was losing the baby. They settled though. Yopu can have a slight bleed too. I often had the cramps to one side of my abdomen only. Braxton hicks don't come until later in the pregnancy about mid term.

i'm six weeks pregnant now and i have cramps on a regular basis. i went to the ER for them this past sunday. the dr told me everything was fine, it was my uterus stretching. i could possibly have them throughout my entire pregnancy, although they may subside after my first trimester. if i get concerned or they're heavy...or include any bleeding to return ASAP. the cramping does feel very period like, even in my back. sometimes they can get pretty painful in my lower abdomen also.

to answer your question from my own experience:
you can possibly have them throughout your entire pregnancy, but most subside after week 12.

Some women have them as early as the day implatation of the egg happens. It all depends on your body, but if i were you i would ask someone qualified to check you out personally.
