Hello. Welcome to my world! Death is not a salvation or a solution to any problems that you are having. You have a choice where as many, including myself, do not. I have Systemic Lupus which is terminal. I have no family, no friends, no nothing, but I'm living this life evry single day and I look forward to the next one. Find your strength!! You have to take charge of your situation. If you can get two jobs, get two jobs. If you want to meet decent people join a social club or community group and do volunteer work. I am physically unable to do these things myself and that's one of the reasons that I see how fortunate you are!! LIVE and MAKE YOUR LIFE BETTER!!!

Death may seem the only way out but it isn't....I tried to kill myself some 6 years ago, but made a bad job of it......so here I am. I now have a good relationship with my girlfriend and have a good job and life is great and it will eventually be like that for you...in the meantime you have to believe that it will get better and it will, the only problem is when you are in the state that you feel right now you can't see it, but please believe me....you will look back and see that it was just a part of your life when things were just ****.
You will also be glad that you did not do anything stupid and harm yourself....just hang on in there and you will come through it.....I wish you lots of luck.
.......As for the people that have made stupid remarks to this question...you show very little understanding of human emotions and I guess that you are all the poorer for it.........however when it comes to depression we can all get it and it could be your turn next........then you will want some help and support......I hope you get more support than you have given this person.

You can change your life for the better by realizing that it's not bad to be alone. Everyone is alone even when they are with someone else. If you're poor, you have nothing to lose. If all your dreams collapse, then your eyes will be opened to what's real.
Instead of being sad about what you don't have, learn to make the most of what's already yours. Death is inevitable for all of us. Salvation? That's when you rejoice at the miracle of being alive.
Cheer up, my friend. Reality is the reward for those who open their eyes.

We all know how this feels, there are times when the odds seem so stacked against you that nothing is worth hoping for. But, these are only a small part of life, and I don't know anybody who hasn't felt this way but has eventually come out the other side. If there is one or two things you like to do, that don't cost much... say enjoying a coffee with a good book then try and include it in your day as it will get you out and about and among people. I find that just 'people watching' while I'm in a coffee shop helps, because inevitably you will see people who appear more down-trodden than you believe yourself to be. I hate the answer 'join a club', as its a cliche, but do check your local library notice board for upcoming events, many have concessions for people who are on low incomes. I think isolating yourself may make things worse so please try and be around people. best of luck xxx

Death is never a salvation. Life needs to begin with you. You need to create your own happiness deep inside yourself. Get involved with life, even if it's just to take a walk outside and look around you... go find some nature and sit down to listen to the wind through the trees, watch the birds flying by, feel the sun on your face... everyone goes through a period where the may be depressed... turn it around for yourself... and smile !!!!!! you'll feel better when you do

Many of us have found that looking for a way to change our own lives isn't the whole answer, but rather allowing Jesus Christ to enter our lives and transform them for us. He came for the sake of people who were poor, disillusioned and lost. He promises that all who seek Him will find Him. That part is up to you! Death is not the end. For believers it is the door to eternal life. That is a far finer thing than any earthly dream can ever be.

Make the best of your current situation... if you can't do anything with what you have then think of a way to change that. Keep it legal and be smart, you have access to the internet so get researching ideas and make use of all the free stuff around you. Look at what benefits you may be able to receive to bring your income up. If you don't spend money on needless things like cigs and booze you can be a rich man in no time!

Since you are alone and poor you have nothing to lose, move away. Try a new place with new dreams. Get rid of all your old expectations and just live each day like it is your last. Take the time to enjoy nature and man-built beauty.

You have access to a computer.
You can look for jobs - either better paid, or more fulfilling than whatever you are doing at the moment.
there are a lot of ways to get a friend/ gf / bf online join a local club/ youth centre/ skills course. Get out and meet people.
The future is a wonderful thing, hang around in this life and see what happens, you might like it.

First thing i noticed is that you should try to be a bit more positive. I feel we are here to better ourselves. I believe all good emotions come from God so just ask. Try to be yourself and dont interact with other peoples vibes that get you down. Try to see the God in everything and the sparkle will come back. Things always get better, remember that. Another thing, if you show God your helping people he will help you.
