Are you forgetting the procedure? Interlocks keep the roof from moving when the car is in gear or moving brakes not on and other. Read and follow owners manual instructions. I doubt you have any leaks you would have noticed fluid on the ground or on the carpeting.

Why do you think the fluid leaked out? The top uses sensors to make sure it can close and are more likely to go bad. Have them checked.

are you sure you are not keeping it in gear
