Hard to beleive but its true just married last year, after 5 years living in with my wife and had two kids. After our first baby he showed me her real attitude, shes so selfish in everything..no respect to me as husband and to my parents. She poked knife in my neck in front of our kids and trow hard stuff to me which causes me lots of bruises..What i did just concentrate on my job then apply abroad. I met one lady wayback 2004 in short we became close friends, one day we woke up were inlove..maybe because we had lots of things in common...What shall I do please help..

You shouldn't have married her in the first place.

Your old lady (wife) poked you in the neck with a knife? Do you really need to ask the question of what you need or should do. A knife in my neck, is an obvious reason to leave and you should have done that like last week. ABUSE goes both ways. It is not just women who are abused. Some men are also abused and are so afraid to say hey, I AM ABUSED. Well it is better to say this and do something than to keep your mouth shut and do nothing. WALK away and do it now, or stay and guess if you will wake up tomorrow.

Yes you are a battered husband which is more common than people realize. Taking solice with another woman was not right but done deal now. Get out of the relationship. You don't have to deal with such an angry person and your children will learn to do the same from what they see Mommy and Daddy doing...your miserable, she probably is too..get out.

Looks like you've found yourself another love so you're picking on everything wrong wife has done /is doing so that you will not feel so guilty to walk out on your wife and TWO CHILDREN. For the children's sake, be a man and go counselling with your wife and sort out your marriage.
You should have questioned your marriage AFTER the first child. Questionning your marriage now after TWO CHILDREN and having found a new love, seems to be you just want out and you'll ruin your wife's reputation so that you don't have a guilty conscience. Your wife is selfish you say, who's the selfish one who will walk out on his TWO CHILDREN!!

you were being abuse yet you still married her and you have already have 2 children out of wedlock
so now you want to get out great but this time what about the kids no more using them as an excuse
1-You should never have married her
2- because of your children you need to get
they are not suppose to see abuse in their home
So seat your children down tell them that you Love them
but you can't stay with their mother and you will always be in their life
You already know what you should do
GET OUT

Buttered or battered? You married for the wrong reasons. You can file for a divorce using that as grounds.

It's sounds to me your already in a abusive relationship. First get out because you don't want to take problems to some one you care about. Then go for it with the new girl. I wish you luck

get your wife in a anger management class. Her behavioral is not healthy for the children or for you. If that doesn't work, take the children and leave. Battered women do it and you can to. Don't just protect your self PROTECT THE CHILDREN
ALWAYS AND FOREVER; SAVE THE CHILDREN

leave your wife (not for the other women .......for you and your kids) And I would try to get custody of your kids too. She sounds abusive. Nobody has to live like that. She has some anger problems she needs to deal with.

This knife she poked at you...what kind was it? Was it a butter knife? If so, then definitely you should consider yourself a "buttered" husband.
