There is NO backward message in Stairway To Heaven.

Anyone who claims to have found one has played the track backwards varying the speed of every note independantly to make that seem to be true.

The same can be done of any song from death metal to happy clappy church stuff

Holy cow!!! I thought this kind of thing died in the sixties!
This is all a bunch of bunk created by the government, both high and low levels, to ban rock and roll.
According to them it was all the 'devils work' trying to corrupt the teenagers of the times.
Play ANY song backwards and all you have is the English language spoken backwards! (If it's preformed in English). It sounds 'strange' to the ear and like a different language, therefore, it HAS to be satanic, right?

No it's complete nonsense. You can make it sound like pretty much anything you want to when played backwards. How the hell would Robert Plant come up with a load of lyrics that made sense when played forwards and backwards?

this question is kind of like how embargo is.. it means war pretty much.. and backwards it says oh grab me

led zeppelin probably did not think of the backward version first before they created the song.. and it only kind of sounds like the ""satanic"" words... when i listened to it backwards i only heard a few parts to it.. but it has like no satanic meanings

If you substitute the lyrics to the opening ditty to "Gilligan's Island" and play that backwards with the "Stairway" melody, then there is no hope, eternal fire, computer crash and stomach upset as will be your fate in the next life.

But the attached link to this quesiton is nothing.

Yes! And if you play "Another One Bites The Dust" by Queen backwards it says it's fun to smoke marijuana!

It's not. People high on drugs think they hear all kinds of things, and do really stupid things...such as playing records backwards.
