Well, I think that for some, they are comfortable.. they just forget they're there. Even I do that.. I can't even feel them after a while.
Plus, women are more and more fashion conscious these days, and are really concerned with panty lines.
But yeah, thongs aren't for everyone. You have a point. For me, they are only for special occasions.. and I've even found that they make me feel sexier while I have them on. There's an obvious plus right there, because I say anything that helps your self esteem is great.. unless you are full of yourself to begin with, you know what I'm saying girl?

i like thongs because there are no panty lines. body by victoria thong underwear is very comfortable. i can't stand lace though. it itches my skin. i need something smooth. personally i like to wear boyshorts when i'm not dressing up.

it's because fashion has made thongs comfortable. Unfortunately there is no slinky little dress that goes with silk boxers...
