Rednecks. Plain and simple. Not saying that all Americans are Rednecks, just NASCAR fans. They can't comprehend what is involved in F1. The technology and talent is much more advanced than NASCAR. Why do you think they have to get "ringers" for the road races. Because it doesn't take a brain to drive in circles. It also has a lot to do with the nationalities of the drivers. It's the same reason why CART split up. Some brain dead idiot said that Americans were tired of seeing foreigners winning the Indy 500. So they formed The Indy Racing League.

I personally like Formula 1 and I HATE Nascar!!
I think in America they like NASCAR better because all the racers are americans...lol..other than that, I don't know!

I don't watch any races, I find them boring. It's funny though because at work we make racing clutches for Alcon, Tilton, Quartermaster, and AP Racing. We also make racing brakes under the Hawk name.
