My fiance found out she was pregnant yesterday. Her last period was also Aug 27. She was sick once (5th September I think), and had felt nauseous and tired since then. She had regular stomach aches and pains and although her breasts weren't sore, her nipples were enlarged. I wish you the very best.

I wouldn't panic yet (easier said than done, I know). It's still early days yet, and I've had similar panics which have come to nothing.
How regular are you generally? I'd wait a day or two (after all, it's been just a month), and take a home pregnancy test. If you have a close (female) friend, have her with you at the time - that way, if the result is negative, you can celebrate together, and if positive, you'll have someone to talk to and think about where to go from there.
Now, about your symptoms - fatigue is one of those strange ones - the more you think about it, the more you notice it - you may not actually be more tired than you normally are - just noticing it more. Or you may be sleeping poorly - or most likely - you are stressed about the thought you may be pregnant, which is making you tired.
When I was pregnant (I have a 15 year old daughter), my breasts hurt when I got pregnant - that was one of my first clues.
Whatever happens, remember it's not the end of the world. There are people out there who can help - they can help you decide what is best for you, and help you with whatever decision you make. The fpa and Marie Stopes here in the UK - Planned Parenthood in the US. And, of course, your GP.
Good luck.

1. The risk of pregnancy from any one exposure is statistically 7 percent.
2 The little ball of cells (morula or blastocyst) implants into the wall of the uterus on the 6th or 7th day after ovulation. The new pregnancy tests are so accurate that they would be positive on the second or third day after implantation, meaning the test performed on the first morning urine would already be positive before your period is late.
3. An online pregnancy test is useless. Do the real one and stop worrying.

If an egg was fertilized, implantation (when the embryo implants to the lining of your uterus) happens, on average, about 7 days past ovulation. It can happen as early as five days past ovulation or as late as twelve days past ovulation.
Early signs of Pregnancy:
Nausea/vomiting
Headache
Food cravings
Heightened sense of smell
Missed period
Backache
Crampy
Extreme fatigue
Tender/swollen breasts
Frequent trips to the bathroom
These signs can appear as soon as implantation or anytime after, each woman is different! Some women have all of these, some have a few and some women don't have any signs.
Good Luck!

I have heard that you can tell by the feel of your cervix.
After ovulation, your cervix will drop lower in your vagina and feel firm, like the tip of your nose. During pregnancy, the cervix will rise a bit and become softer, but the timing of this happening will vary from woman to woman. For some, this will happen shortly before their period is due, but for other, this will not happen until quite a while after their pregnancy has been confirmed.

I think when you are pg you just know (i know this doesnt apply to all women) But its a different feeling to period symptoms...sore boobs is a big clue if you dont usually get them with your period. A hpt would give you a fair indication by now sweet so take the plunge and then you will have your answer....i hope its the one you are looking for!

I found out I was pregnant at just 3 weeks with my last 2 children. Only way to go is to visit the docotor or get a home test. Better to put your mind at rest asap.

if your last period was 27 aug it would make you around 2 weeks preg as most women ovulate during mid cycle ( 2 weeks after period ended ) so its very early days if you are, i would give it a few more days if your period dos'nt start get a test.
