Did your friend have another person on the bike when he got busted, did someone else turn the throttle for him...of course not...your friend was busted fair and square. He could of just let the other guy go and win if he didn't want to race. I like to race once in a blue moon, but I know that if I get caught there's nobody to blame but myself. Thats just like saying if I was in a bar and someone bought me several drinks and I get a DUI on the way home and say it was the other guys fault cause he bought me the beer, heck no, it's my fault that I got it, I'm the one that picked it up to drink it, I didn't have to drink it just because he spent money on me. If someone told me to go jump off the bridge and I do....who's fault is that...it's mine. Sounds like your friend is a follower and not a leader, and needs to stand his ground in what he really wants to do, if he really didn't want to race he should of got on the bike and went his own way if the guy was hounding him. Other then that he had a choice to race or not, and it was his decision to race, his decision to open the throttle, and by making that decision to race he won a ticket and points on his license.

Each should pay their own ticket. Part of street racing. Why did they stop?

When you think your fast enough to race get on a track and see how SLOW you really are.
Its his own fault for not paying atention to things around him, he got caught, tough luck ( it sucks but thats life)

If you take a gamble, (such as speeding), sometimes you loose. I guess that he was fortunate that his friend didn't wish to rob a bank instead.
You let someone talk you into doing something that you know is wrong, only blame yourself for being stupid if you get caught.

Who ever got caught has to pay his dues. No one made him do it. It was a choice. You speed, you get caught you pay the fine.

"You" break the speed limit, "you" pay.
"You're" legally drunk, a totally wasted drunk driver, using drugs, talking on his cell phone, cuts you off and "you" crash, creating a ten car pile up. You're defense - he was more drunk and cut me off causing the accident. HA! "You" were driving while intoxicated. "You" crashed your car and "you" caused the accident.
