Under the bonnet look on the VIN plate with the chassis number there should be a colour code number.Best to take car to Ford garage parts dept and ask them which of the numbers is the colour code. If you get the paint from Halfords then the staff should know which number it is too. Good luck

No you do not. You have two choices. Take the vehicle to a auto locksmith. They will erase the old key (in case someone finds it , it will no longer start car) and program in new key. or # 2 take it to dealer and have them program in key. The locksmith should be a lot cheaper. If you go the locksmith route call around and do your homework. They should guarantee the work and it will be cheaper. Good luck. And p.s. ive never seen a fiesta with a transponder key in the u.s.a. Are you in Different Country ?

The colour has probably faded so even if you have the right colour, you may not get a match.
It won't affect the performance of the car so if it is really bad, try a thin brush to fill in the scratch carefully rather than a spray can.

try your local car parts store, they should have details on all cars, i had to do the same when i had a burgundy metro!
also sorry to hear about the keying, someone poured emulsion over my car last month. people just don't think about the poor buggers whose car it is!

take it to a dealer or garage and they will point it out for free - or just look under the bonnet!
Next time buy a fiat!
