2 stories: Being kept in the emergency room for 8 hours farting loudly after they gave me a Pepcid because I was complaining of chest, back pain and nausea after eating lobster in butter sauce. I was sent home with a paper that said I had gas and a prescription for Pepcid...If they had given me an ultrasound-they would have known I had gallstones and was having an attack...I had my gallbladder removed 2 months after that incident...
2) I came to the ER because I seriously hurt my foot after falling into a small covered pothole outside a friend's door. I hurt it so badly I couldn't even walk on it. They even had me in a wheelchair the WHOLE time I was in the ER. Yet, when I went to see the doctor-when he asked me where it hurt, I pointed to the bone on the bottom side of my foot-this a**hole decides to grab that part of my foot as tight as he could and start twisting my ankle(I'm screaming in pain now)...he says "your ankle seems to be fine"...uhhm, HELLO? I said the bottom side you idiot! Anyway-he sends me home with an ace bandage, a cane(I can't even apply pressure to the bottom half of my left foot, so only God knows how that was supposed to work) and a retarded paper that says I had a sprained ankle...I left crying in more pain than I came in with, and hopping with the stupid cane(cuz of course, how can you show somebody how to use a cane that can't even put their foot on the floor at all?)...See what happens when you don't have health insurance in this country?
Let that be a lesson, folks....(BTW-I had insurance in the 1st story-but not the second)

I had surgery at a VA hospital. The lower lobe of my right lung was removed. Two big name surgeons were doing contract work for the VA.
Basically, these two broads put me back together wrong. I have the oddest thing going on under my right arm. It has been over 15 years and I still have pain and couldn't do a pull-up if my life depended on it.
I could spend six months working on those two worthless pieces of crap. I have no idea what I would do. I can guarantee you it would make the Hanoi Hilton seem like a giggles palace and they would live. I know I have wanted to die since those two got me on the table. And I had good feeling going in. I though they really cared about what they were doing. Probably spent the whole time doing their nails and watching some janitor do the surgery. HeII, maybe they spent the whole time doing each other.
At this point I am afraid of female Doctors. I know it isn't fair but that's just tuff. I wouldn't let a female MD close enough pronounce me dead.
Does that qualify as an unhappy experience?
There a lot of people in this world I don't like but damn few I hate. There is ABSOLUTELY nothing that could happen to either of these women that would bother me in the slightest. With the possible exception of a quick painless death.

6 months ago I cracked a tooth, it was a molar, and the nerve was exposed and the pain was horrible. I work at night so here it is 2:30 am and I am in such pain it feels like my whole head is throbbing to the rhythm of my heart pumping blood... I was miserable. I decided to leave work, drive myself to the hospital and see if I could get a shot of Novocain until I could make it to the dentist when they opened. Well... as I was at the hospital, i had to wait almost 2 hours before they took me back and then I had to sit or rather lay upright on a gurney in the emergency room beside the nurse's station... I am waiting and waiting and while I am waiting this woman is rolled in looking really messed up.. black eyes, scratches all over her arms and escorted by the police. Turns out that her boyfriend/pimp beat her up because she wouldn't provide a service for $ so they could get some drugs. I overheard the police questioning her and him and overheard their conversation as I was in the midst of it. So I finally get seen by a doctor who takes me into a room. He proceeds to hurry and he understands my rush to get some pain meds in. they had given me a single does of something and it was wearing off. so he jabs a needle into my mouth, all the way back and so my mouth is wide open, hurting and I see this wrist in my face and I know there is a needle that is trying o find the right place to stick when all of a sudden we hear this screaming and loud voices and these thuds in the hallway, right next to the door when we were.. The doctor jumped, I jumped. It was not the best time to move when you have a needle in your mouth. Luckily, he had a steady hand and when we jumped he kinda made sure that i didn't get hurt. I felt the needle hit the top of my mouth but it was the length of it and not the tip... come to find out, this person making all this noise was jumped on by the police as he was acting all crazed. What really made this the most unhappy experience is that I was only there for a cracked tooth and just wanted to get a shot to survive till I could see the dentist in the am.. I know this was long but it was not something I wish to ever have happen again but it was something I will never forget!

Well I went in to have a lump removed from my breast and that went fine BUT 2 weeks later I had the worst infection that you can imagine. The incision re-opened and blood and pus would just run out. I was having to bandage it up but that wouldn't even contain it. All total I wound up missing a month of work.

I had a miscarriage a few months ago and I needed a d&c done. The nurse I had was extremley rude and cross with me because she had her paperwork wrong and thought I was there for an abortion. Her attitude changed after she was corrected but I was still peeved that she brought her opinions to her workplace like that.

When I was born! Nah, just kidding. The most unhappy is getting my shots. They just stick a needle into your arm like it's a normal thing for us! Poke, poke, poke, poke... How would they feel if I poked them a thousand times with a sharp needle?

I have very pale skin and very large, visible veins. I had never been missed when a nurse attempted to draw blood. Ever. I knew when he walked in the door he would bruise both my arms. He did, and blood went everywhere.

... that they are more interested in the mode of payment (how would you be paying by and securing all necessary just to make sure that you have the means) before their interests in treating you.
