Six people were incinerated today in a two car colision Im not saying that speed was a factor but if it was then there are six lives senselessly wasted and one was a young child whom had so much to live for please concider others when driving and remember a little bit of patience and curtesy will always make you feel a little better about youself and may just save the life of a future friend.

At 120 MPH, that Time will be Reduced by 30 Seconds.Now, is 30 Seconds worth Gambling One's Life ? No, not really.The "Proof" is that there is a Certain Adrenalin "Rush" that happens at 120 + MPH that's Hard to Describe, when One's Peripheral Vision of the Surrounding Area changes, and One's Stomach seems to Rise to One's Throat. It's sort of like the Feeling of Taking Off in an Airplane. It's a Total Rush ! I don't do it anymore, and I've never caused an Accident. But it was a lot of Fun ! But, Driver Inattention is really the Leading Cause of Accidents. I have lost many Friends in Auto Accidents as well, so I Know where You're coming from.

There are many people who are habitual speeders. I ride a motorcycle and it can take off much quicker than most cars. I will do that to get some space between myself and the traffic behind. Even though I will be quite far ahead of the cars from the last traffic light, they will be steadily catching up to me because I am going the speed limit. It happens everytime I go for a ride so it is more than just a few people.

BUT, worse than the speeders are those who do not watch their surroundings. I have been sitting at a red light on a four lane road and had a car go right past me into the intersection barely missing a car going through on green. What did she think I was sitting there for? People on cell phones think they can multi task while driving but there was a women killed in a head on crash because she was trying to look up a number on her phone and went off into the wrong side of the road. I had a person talking on the phone roll up to a four way stop sign pretty fast which gave me the notion he had no intention of stopping since he had to slam on the brakes when he realized I was beginning to pull away. There are more people killed on our nations highways every year then are killed in wars but do you hear people insisting on safer driving?
