paris hilton is from the hilton hotel family...no one knew who she was until there was a scandal with her being in a sex tape that someone put on the internet...after that the magazines started following her around and we found out that she's nothing but a spoiled little brat that like to spead em for anyone who's anyone.
i think it was upn who took advantage of the spotlight on her and offered her the simple life tv show.
but really she's famous for having sex on the internet.

Paris Hilton is famous for doing absolutely nothing. You've heared of the idle rich? Well there she is. She has the I.Q. of less than a gnat. All she does is waste all day spending her daddies money on useless shallow crap. She could have done something special with the wealth and resources at her disposal. But no, she just buys crap with it. OK, I give in: her talent is her ability to be talentless. A bone idle money waster. What she spends on an entree in a restaurant would keep someone in the third world fed for six months. I suppose she is not aware of the fact at all, having zero between her ears. Well everyone thinks she is sweet and innocent, her father owns the very famous Hilton Hotels all over the world, she started in the film, "House of Wax", she was also in the programme with Nicole Richie in the real life. But most of all and this is where she got famous was the "sex tape" which we all know was very tacky! Oh and not to forget the little appearance in Eminems video..... Hope this helps.
