aav dekha na thaav means that one did not see the right time and impatiently acted on impulse.
aav means postion and thaav means anger, dekna na means did not see.

It means didn't see any thing & just did .....
It is used in urdu also when we want to say that the person did not consider results of his doing....& did something....
For example.....
Aav dekha na Thaav, ek laat mardi, pata chala ke doosray ki to laath hi naqli thi.....
Apni llat turwa bethay.....
