it seems to me that America as a country is fighting or at least a seccion of it several very significal countries .
france the leader of help to african nations and a promoter of peace between many countries .
mexico a country which provides a very important source of workers to USA and a one of the few countries which did not requiered a war to convert into a democracy .
canada always a friend which has been seeing the relation with usa deteroriate ever since it decided not to back USA in a war which most american regret today .
so here is my question , why isn't America trying to make friends with them instead of insulting them and treat them with out respec a lot of the time ???

How very true. For the most part, it's not the citizens, it's the current administration. They are stubborn. They step on many toes to achieve their hidden agenda.
Bush fails to see what he has set into motion. And we, the citizens will be paying for many generations to come. He tends to brush aside those who disagree with his vision (delusion).
A leader who neither listens to advise of those who oppose his ideas, when they see his grievous mistakes, or insults them, will find himself wanting in time of need. That's what scares me. Because, he endangers not only himself, but every person in this nation, and other nations as well.

The question is ambiguous. By the word "civilized world" if you mean non-muslim countries, then it is a wrong statement. There are many non muslim under developed countries as well as many highly developed islamic countries. Secondly why at all shall anyone fight against Islam? I guess you are disturbed by the terrorist acts everywhere in the name of Islam. But remember terrorists are only terrorists, they do not belong to any religion. It is terrorism and illiteracy which should be fought not Islam. And just to make a note that I am not a Muslim, so that you don't find my answer biased.

America is on the top of the civilized world, which takes the responsibility to fight terrorism and not civilization. It has taken the greatest challenge now on earth to end the life of devils: the enemies of peace and civilization. America has taken this challenge and others not, because America is brave and responsible nation and others, who are not helping America in this regard, are not.

I don't see us fighting anyone in the civilized world. We aren't fighting France, Mexico or Canada.
We are fighting certain elements in Iraq and Afghanistan. Those elements are not the civilied world and we are not insulting anyone.
Since 1776 we have disagreed with many countries in the world and will probably disagree with many more. We continue to trade with them and to welcome their visitors and to send our tourists to visit them.
We are friends with most of these countries and will continue to be. We will probably continue to disagree on many issues.

Are you sure we are civilized on planet earth?
Looks like we are still primitves at loss and stranded in "The new lost city of sex and the sin city in the new Atlantis" being overlook by the dirty old men in office on "Planet of Apes"
