he is old enough but he has got the rest of his life to work after leaving school let him enjoy his young years he will only get them once try and give him more pocket money if you cant afford it spend more time with him tell him other ways to spend his time it may be hard but honestly he will love you all the more when he's older for letting him enjoy THE VERY FEW YEARS OF YOUTH THAT WE ALL HAVE HAD AND MAYBE WASTED.whats 3 to 5 years compared to 50 or more as an adult. best of luck to you x

Yes i'm sure he his. I had one when i was 15. but that was 25 years ago. It would be good for him. Better than being out on the street like most other 15 year old. Unlike most other 15 year olds. He must a bright lad. He wants to work rather then cause trouble. As i'm sure you do already. Support the lad. You should like a good caring mother. Top marks to you.

Yes, he is, I worked at Lloyds Chemist from age 15 until I was about 18. Really enjoyed it.

He could work in a pub, but he will only be able to collect glasses until he is 16, then he can work behind the bar, as long as he is training to become a bar person.

Yep, and there are loads of people who'll take him on. Try and convince him to stick half of what he earns into a high interest/impossible to withdraw savings account, with a view to saving for something he really, really wants in the future (like a car, for instance).

technically he is old enough for a paper round, my bro is in the same situation, my sis is 17 she is qualified in childcare but no 1will take her on as she is under 18 so technically a paper round, unless he already has his NI (national insurance) number then i personally know greggs will take him on
