The Platypus.
Why?
Because they're extremely rare and I've seen every other Australian animal a thousand times but never once a platypus. Ever.
I think it'd make the BEST pet ever.

OKAY...for all the peoples KOALA are not BEARS....The koala is related to the kangaroo and the wombat. The koala is a mammal. The koala's scientific name is Phasclarctos cinereus. they have a pouch! you cant see it cause it really tiny.....BUT to answer the question....i like wombats. Just like the one in a country practice...i like em...they are so cuddly looking but sad sackish...like eoyre out of winnie the pooh! I like the platypus too...they are so unique and they are one out of a small group of monotremes which are quiet rare...and they are the main character in the book i love to read as a kid called "what made Tidalik laugh?"...its good! hahaha...

First off I just love to sit and listen to a Australian man talk. It is one of my favorite accents. It just melts me. Besides that Koala bears and wallabies are soooooooooooo cute.Bush Babies are also cute, with those big eyes.

I've got a soft spot for koalas - they're cute little buggers, and all they do is get high on eucalyptus all day and p*ss on tourists. Sounds like a good life to me.
