I'm assuming we're talking about a case in England & Wales. You can enforce a maintenance order, whether for child or spousal maintenance, in the following ways:
1. Attachment of Earnings order - £ is taken direct from his paypacket.
2. Garnishee Order - £ is taken direct from his bank account (you have to tell the court where his £ is)
3. Registration in the Magistrates court - potentially goes to jail for non payment (rarely happens)
4. Charging order against his house. If he still doesn't pay, the court can order his house is sold to pay the arrears. Again, this is pretty draconian and rarely applied for.
Your best bet, assuming he's not self employed, is to apply for an Attachment of Earnings order. You can get the form & instruction booklet from your local county court

Texting is private and intimate. Texting is the perfect way to create a private and intimate world between you and the man or woman in your life. Learn here https://tr.im/GQoZR
For women in particular, texting can end up being a fun “game” where they can do or say anything (even things they would never do in the “real” world). Texting is non confrontational. Odds are your relationship ended on a heated note. I don’t know why you and your ex broke up, but there was probably at least one (if not a few dozen) big fights. Done properly (the way I’m going to teach you), texting is simple and subtle. You can slowly feed your ex tested and proven messages and ideas without the risk of either one of you flying off the handle, falling back into old and destructive patterns, and throwing plates at each other.

In most states you can get the County Attorney to force payment to you but that means you have to be on Public assistance before they handle your case...if not get the best Family law attorney in the county on retainer and do everything the attorney advises..when you take the deadbeat to court you will most likely get your attorney fees included in his revised consent order.. in any case good luck and hope he doesn't do as my ex did..first got a week continuance then during the week took a $1350 a month cut in pay...oh did I mention she worked at her fiance's older brothers business...and the judge wouldn't even consider the situation around her pay being dropped to $950 a month from $2300...during the one week continuance also...

My ex husband earns 700 a week, hes never payed a penny for his child since he left 2 years ago.The csa have been helpful but cause hes self emplyed they cant touch him.My suggestion to you is to speak to a solicitor (for what their worth!)get him to court by that way. It could take months and you might have to pay if your working. Some men my love are just assholes(were we mentally unbalance when we met them?!!!!)40%men dont pay for their children,us ladies take most of the brunt when relationships dont work out.But there are some mint men who take care of their children and PAY!

Play name and shame.
Send a fax to his company in his name every month mentioning politely that they money has not arrived yet again and that now ..... is needed.
Get friends to go to the houses, apartments, shops near where he lives pretending to be debt collectors. Of course they mention why they need to find him...
It is done all the time here in the Middle East!!!

Stick a red hot poker up his bum and tell him next time it's going up his jap's eye!!
No seriously, go see a solicitor, they'll be able to advise you on what course to take.
Good luck, I know exactly how you feel, apart from my ex has decided NOT to work so he doesn't have to pay for his kids.

if its wrote down, take him to court and let him tell the judge why he is not agreeing to the ordwer and maybe alittle jail time will help him remember to pay the next time -- and if its not written down get a lawter and make that happen then repeat the steps from the above statement
