My initial thought is to say women are more likely to stay failthful, but its not that way anymore. Even though I am a woman, and I would nevr cheat on my boyfriend, I do know that for this generation women are definitaley the ones who cheat, I know men do it, but in my experienes, men are wanting relationships more, and women are wanting freedom more and more. All though you can't put everyone in the same category. Its to wide a topic to have a yes or no answer.

Bearing in mind that you can't be unfaithful on your own, I would suggest 50/50. However, most of the broken marriages due to infidelity, that I personally know of, the man in the relationship is the main instigator of the adultery. However, times change and I am quite amazed at how many women I have heard of now are having adulterous affairs.

I don't think its a male/ female issue . its a personality issue. research shows that women are more likely to remain faithful, but times are changing as i think the figures will also.more and more women are going out to work and so are in situations of meeting people they never once were. they are out there now in the working environment with the same temptations as men have been for years.

Well, I would say depends on the personality itself.. RESPECT is the key to be faithful to their partner in a relationship.. If there is no RESPECT in a relationship and there won't be "faithful" either..

In time today, it seems that BOTH men and women are racing to see who can cheat or hurt people the most within a certain time frame.

It's as if it's a Game. So the answer is neither...they're all equally cheating, those who fall into that category. (THE CHEATERS CLUB), the only requirement or qualification is to be a CHEATER.

Both sexes have the same ability to be faithful, but some don't have the inclination. I think it depends on the type of person you are - not the sex you were born.

Women. Coz they have more to lose so they are moer likely to stick to one partner. But then the world has change and women are now more modern and independent.

I guess men, they have less time on their hands if they work etc, I think the testing time for women is when kids are at school or left home. Too much time.
