Go to KMart and they won't even acknowledge your presence unless you tackle them and hold them down. Then they will tell you that they aren't on the clock, or they are going home. I've never found one that is actually working. I think they hide.

They do it on purpose just to be annoying. You know how to get even with them? Say, YES! Actually I COULD use some help! And take some time out of your schedule to keep them busy for a while just to bust their chops. After they can't find what you're looking for they always go, sorry and then walk away. They never say, "Can I help you find something else?" Honestly, nobody wants to help anybody find anything. They just want to test you and see what you're made out of so they try to intimidate you with the ever hated ,"CAN I HELP YOU?" question. Don't be afraid to get them back once in a while by saying "YES!" even if you don't need help.

Yes, especially the people that work at the shoe place at one of the malls in the big city. They act like they are trying to get the most cutomers before their co worker gets you. Like a competition to get the most sales or customers. It is irritating when they come up to you when you reach the other side of the store and they still persist.

No I don't. If I just want to have a look, I explain so and they always smile back and leave me alone. Otherwise they help me by bringing clothes and stuff and I really like that.

Yes and I usually say "I'm just browsing." However, when I really need help, all the people have disappeared. I guess it's Murphy's law.

most of time, but i find it decent of them to ask since sometimes i do need their help and i cant find them

wat i really hate is wen somebody keeps on following me & wen i touch something, she'll like say "can i help u w/dat?".. like im gonna mess up everything. she doesnt want me touchin anythin..
