1) The Christmas present from the aunt who still thinks you're 8 years old and love cute knitted caps with the head of Big Bird on them. And you're a junior in college.
2) The heavy, gorgeously wrapped box for a 16 year old girl. . .that turns out to be the model train set that Dad always wanted for himself and was too embarassed to buy.
3) Finding out that Santa Claus swears like a sailor when he's putting together that toy with 99 bazillion pieces and an instruction manual printed only in Japanese.
4) Being dragged to your in-laws for Christmas, only to come down with the worst case of Montezuma's revenge since Monty himself was on the throne. Spend Christmas morning unwrapping your presents. . .in the bathroom.
5) Catching the aforementioned potty-mouthed Santa in a clutch with your mom. Who is wearing little more than a smile and a candy cane in her teeth.
Yes, as you may have already guessed, these things actually happened to someone who is ever to remain nameless but whose intials are WB.

1. The debate if Christmas should be celebrated by cities and towns - does it violate separation of church and state?
2. The need to send cards to people you never see or haven't talked to in 5 years.
3. The awkward moments when someone buys you a gift but you really hate them and wasn't planning on buying them anything, but you have to buy them something now on Dec. 23 because you don't want to seem like an idiot.
4. Crappy gifts from relatives, like clothes.
5. Whining kids invade the mall.

Well, I don't like to focus on the negative, and there is alot I really LOVE about Christmas, but since you only asked about what I don't LOOOOOOVE, well, It costs too much, the lines are too long, there is never anywhere close to park, Fruit cake-forget it, the things people ask for or want but they are already sold out. That makes all 5, I am also not too crazy about doing all of those Christmas cards and letters. And I sure get sick of the ads.

1. Having a birthday in December.
2. Feeling obligated to buy gifts when you can't afford them.
3. Having to travel to see the relatives and pay gas/ferry/etc.
4. Relatives that get irritable on holidays and start snapping at others.
5. Missing your dearly departed or relatives in the service.
BTW since I can't afford to buy a bunch of gifts, we are going to make rice krispie treats shaped like a Hershey's kiss about the size of a fist, with a chocolate kiss at the top for the point, wrap in foil, and have a little paper coming out that says Merry Christmas from ...... Very inexpensive but most everyone loves rice krispie treats!

nothing is bad about Christmas for me!! why? well, 1) i get presents. and well, i give too so may be that's one thing i hate because then i hate to spend all my savings but you know you give, you get!!!
2) no school, which mean NO h.w!
3) i love how it looks like, the streets, all the lights and especially, the snow!
4) i get to spend time with my family and meet my close friends.
5)And i could sleep all i want, play on my computer, do stuff i like, spend more time at church and sometimes travel to visit some relative in the winter break.
So basically i told you the opposite(5 things i love about Christmas) sorry but with all that stuff, i can't find any thing but # 1 that i hate about Christmas!!! :)

traffic around the mall
christmas music
those crappy tinsel decorations that are 40 yrs old and falling apart that they have to stick on every street light
dads cussing while putting lights on trees, carving turkeys, stuck in traffic jams,
smiling brainwashed zombies that get mad at you for not having christmas spirit

-its out of hand
-commercialism
-santa claus (Ill just leave it at that)
-other people make you obligated to buy them stuff, rather than giving.
-Besides the cozy fire (which sounds nice right now because Im sick) and lights, i would prefer to not celebrate it, though I am the only one out of my whole family, so maybe I'll become a hermit and live in the woods somewhere.
