That is true! Iam still looking for work for the past four years and Iam in earnest! I must be careful of my budget or I have less to eat at the end of the month! Iam really serious on this, is not funny!

What is happening is that a silent war is being waged, and the lowly wage earner is the target of this war.

Take away my income stream, and I'm a piece of crap.

If there ever was something worth fighting for, I beleive it should be about living wages.

The trend, which was in effect for a long time, but gathered steam when Ronald Reagan was Prez., is for companies to take over competitors and downsize by eliminating workers that have similar jobs, and also save money on other expenses like the costs involved with renting.

This trend is not about to go away soon, which is what drives the entire economy now and makes the price of goods and services stay low, including what people take home after a long day's work.

What we have now is a prosperous economy for the wealthy corporate executives and some stockholders, but a piss poor situation for the working people who are fed credit cards instead of decent wages.

So what does one do? Go out and fight in the streets like they used to when the unions were coming in? Or, just sit back and sign up for all the credit cards you can handle, and play a game of deciding which one is better while using one to pay off another?

Wacky?

But many do it while the streets stay nice and quiet (except for a passing vehicle or drug dealer).

That's what you get when the mass of people are not aware of what goes on. Some call it ignorance. I've run out of words to describe the average everyday people I see every day.

I never get to see the rich corporate executives, and that could be very scary.

Benjamin Disraeli said that there are 'lies, damn lies and statistics.'
It's the fat cats that are doing so well in this economy.
