My husband always feels sick when hes in bed and is trying to go to sleep. We have ruled out food or drink because sometimes he eats something before he goes to bed, sometimes he drinks something, and sometimes he has nothing at all, but every time he lays down and turns the tv off to go to sleep he feels sick.....any ideas?

your hubby has either a ear infection or a problem with his blood pressure, I would rule out the ear infection as that would effect him during the day as well,
go get his blood pressure checked out by a medic as there is differnt problems associated with blood pressure and postural hyper or hypo tention are botha probability and they can make you feel sick.
good luck to you both,
thanks

Is he experiencing any stress at the moment? There is a powerful therapy called TFT which would be able to help with the trauma/emotional upsets he might be feeling, contact a local practitioner. But as a simple rule ask him to close his eyes breathing in for 5 counts hold for 2 counts and breathe out for 5 counts 3 times (don't do this i he suffers from asthma or any other breathing difficulties) While he is breathing ask him to visualise feeling settled and better, see himself rooted into the earth. Sometimes we feel dizzy or sick if we do not feel grounded. Contact me if you want a simple grounding exercise, dochsa.co.uk. But do seek medical advice.

He shuldnt eat or drink just b4 bed, he can try havin a glass of water. Has this always happened? What new things did he start doing around the time he started feeling sick? Try to rule more things out than just food n drink.

Is it everytime he lies down or bed time?
laying down could be an inner ear problem ,
it also could be acid which could be solved with some anti acid before bedtime maybe get him to try something to rule it out rennies or other before bed.

he should see a docor it could be a number of things ,

Maybe he should try not watching TV right before bed.

You don't say what you mean by "feels sick". He should see a doctor.

HAve your husand go to an ENT (ears, nose&throat doctor) sounds like he has either middle ear or inner ear problems and it affects him when he lies flat and makes him sick.

have him try a little yogurt with his evening meal also proper hydration can lead to better acid levels in the stomach and organs.

Is he trying to tell you something, perhaps it would look too obvious if he said he had a headache
