Because how is calling themselves fat going to help their self esteem? It's the same as calling girls skinny, these are derrogatory terms that lead women to feel insecure and unhappy with themselves and no-one should have to feel that way, no matter what their size. HTH : )

BBW means big beautiful women. No they are not fat. They are voluptous sexy beautiful ladies. Men with good taste like myself adore them.

Why wouldn't they be beautiful? Unless you are a consumer driven drone who has bought into the bony image of todays models, women of all shapes and sizes are beautiful. In fact, Americans who seem to worship those pencil thin images of the screne suffer from more obesity than any other country. Does that mean that all of them are not beautiful - just fat? And why can a large man be considered handsome but a large woman not beautiful?

why shouldnt women who are larger not be considered beautiful (bbw is an abbreviation for big beautiful women in case you didnt know) not everyone on this planet is attracted to "skinny" women and calling someone fat is just rude and ignorant.

Because they don't really mean fat. They mean Big and Beautiful. everyone is different, and everyone can think of themselves as they want. I am not a big person, but most of my friends are, and they are beautiful in my eyes and I am sure many others!
