Your menus are ridiculously unfriendly...you need to group things together more. The width on the 1st is not 800x600 (760x420) so you're alienating people. Both sites look bland because its text, text and more text....and finally, you haven't checked how your sites look in firefox because the second one's form doesn't work properly.
My advice to you is to do three things - 1) check on more platforms and with more browsers, 2) add more images or break the text up somehow because currently I wouldn't even read the first sentence and 3) sort your navigation out into smaller groups (use the 3 click rule) because currently I wouldn't even attempt to find information on that site, it would just be too much of a headache.
Sorry if you think this is harsh, but you did ask for an honest opinion.

I hate to see Google Ads on professional websites. I give you a 8 for design and 0 overall. TAKE THEM OFF!
