My wife and I are both working in UAE. We haven't decided yet whether she will resign and fly home with our son.

My wife and I are both feeling guilty leaving our son to a nanny. I believe he is suffering from seperation anxiety. Shall my wife resign from work and take care of him instead. Please advise me.

Dear Loving Father. In this world it is getting more and more that children do not have the opportunity to have both parents toegther for many different reasons. But it sounds like you love your family and are thinking about your child, yes your son needs his parents life is nice with money but familly can never be replaced you both should be there for him and raise him as a family in time even with just one parent there the child will grow up with resentment and feeling that he was not loved as much because your not there. If you can make it happen the best thing would be find a job close to home and help raise your child wich is a blessing. There is so much you in the end will miss out on while he is growing up and it's nothing money can buy or fix. So either you both should try and go back or bring him and the nanny to you. Good Luck and God Bless.

As hard as it is when both parents work, your son needs some time with both of you. If you feel that you can make it on one salary, go for it. If possible, do you think that you can go home with them if you found another job? Remeber, children are only young once, and the time that you have with them can never be regained. They grow up way too fast.
