I dont know why but some gays are racists when I talk to them if I said I am from Mexico and they dont want to talk to me or sometimes they say racist comments? I would like to know why.. if the gay people we recieve a lot of insults from another people everyday in special religous leaders..

In Australia, especially in the gay community, you'd be considered special. You'd be popular in Sydney because Mexicans are so rarely found in our part of the world.
Perhaps gay America is not necessarily racist against Mexicans, they're just bored with Mexicans because, especially in California, you guys are so common. Look at all the place names in California --- Los Angeles, Santa Clarita, Pasadena, Van Nuys, San Fernando, San Francisco. white California don't hate you, they're just sick of seeing Hispanic culture infiltrate every aspect of their world in which they live.
It's like eating ice cream every night for dinner. Eventually you'll end up vomiting at the thought of ice cream. Familiarity breeds contempt. Not racism.

Racism comes in all colors. Just because someone is gay does not mean they cannot be racist. There are many reasons people are racist, that is not to say they are right. What about a black/hispanic/native american/asian/etc person that doesn't like people from another culture? Don't think that just because I am gay I should like all people. Again I am not saying it is right....

Gays are human beings. Some human beings are racist, so some gays will be racist. Sexual orientation isn't the be-all and end-all of a persons character.

Some gays are racists just like some straights are racists. Hell, some gays are homophobes. Sad but true. Not everyone will like you no matter who they are or who you are. The way I see it, if people have a problem with me, that is their problem, not mine.

Unfortunately, racism is something you learn from your upbringing, while sexual orientation is, to a large degree, genetically set. Therefore, the two are not related. A lot of straight people can be racist jerks, and a lot of gay people can be racist jerks. I'm sorry you've had to deal with such stupidity.

Okay racism from any group is always a "power play".
To make you feel "less than" them.
Which is age old and fueled by fear and stupidity on the racist.
Being Mexican or even Mexican, Gay, Jewish with only one leg is OKAY> its America we are supposed to love you NO matter who you are as long as you are "on" our team as American.
I am Texan and have seen the climate change here over the last few years. Angry Mexican americans (normally too young to vote) acting badly as a result of the horrible things the USA is saying about the border. Ironically it the "outsiders" that are causing the issue, we (Texans) have lived here for hundreds of years in peace.
Due to these actions, they are now being "stereotyped" and rasicm is raising its ugly head here like a rattlesnake. So each day, I must watch what I say, because anything can be seen as a "comment" when it was not meant to be, these are my friends, neighbors, co-workers and I love and support them.
Yet, I'm white and that is just wrong these days, if your in a hispanic neighborhoods now. I have never known that fear before, so that proves to me the "hatred" of rasicm is alive and well in my back yard. IN front of me to deal with.
A wall is not the message we want to send. It didn't work for Germany! Mexico is my brother/sister and we are united. I am intergrated into the culture and its part of my soul.

I've never understood how a gay person can be racist. We of all people should be able to identify with what racism is all about. I think that racism in any form is abominable --however when it comes from another oppressed member of society it's really sad.

Because being gay is just part of who these people are. Being gay does not make them angels in this imperfect world. No minority group consists of just angelic individuals -- there's a mixture.

Last time I looked gay people were people. Some people are like this. It is a shame one would think they would be excepting of everyone, just because they expect everyone to except them.
My son is gay I raised him not to put down anyone and we do not put him down. People are people.....

Hypocrites! I dont know why, but I have eard alot of stories being told about Racist homo's. I hpe i never come in contact with any. Cuz I wil le tthem have it, and really bad also.
