You don't say how old you are, but if you're young it's quite normal.

If you are young then your periods may take a couple of years to settle into a regular rhythm, and some people never have a regular cycle. If you are approaching 45 it could be the menopause causing your irregularity. If neither of these are the case and you had a regular cycle in the past you should see your doctor. Amenorrhoea or absent periods may be caused by a number of things such as pregnancy, pscological stress, eating disorders, changes in weight, hormone imbalance and poor nutrition.

Well, there are a lot of factors to consider before coming up to a medical problem. Your gynecologist would usually ask about your age, any boyfriend, nutrition, occupation, etc. You better consult your OB about it, k? Because that's something alarming. Probably your pregnant or your suffering from an electrolyte imbalance.

simple hormonal imbalance; go see a gyneacologist and get it over with. bec some hormonal imbalance issues makes u gain weight faster than normal. some people become obese bec of it.

u may have an inflammation in the uterus, this inflammation may lead to preforming a sac in the uterus, and this disrupts ur period and makes it non uniformed.
