A word of advice - the registry is WAY too big to print out - it contains hundreds of thousands of individual records, called 'keys', which are divided up into hundreds of folders and can contain several lines of text EACH. You can open it up and look at it, just don't try to print it out. It would take a while. Also, check with a techie before you change anything, and back it up before you look at it - you might hit something by accident and render your computer un-bootable.

Te registry is HUGE, so I doubt your teacher wants you to print out the whole thing. Possibly you are supposed to print out two KEYS in the registry. The registry is a database of information about windows. You can access it by clicking on your Start button, choosing Run, and typing in Regedit.exe. The Registry consists of five main roots, each of which is also too big to print out. Click on one of these roots, and you'll find a long list of "Keys". If the Key has a + next to it, it contains subkeys. Look for a key with no + next to it, and it should be small enough to print. Select a key, then choose "File-->Print" to print it out. Or you can make a copy of the key to print later by choosing "File-->Export" Don't change anything in the Registry, but if you just look, Print, or Export, you won't harm anything.

The registry is a place where windows stores all information about your computer(This may not be the exact definition...). You can open the registry editor in windows by typing regedit from the run menu..You can add/delete/modify settings form the registry editor. But make sure you backup your registry before changing any values..This can cause harm to your computer..

Registry is one place a computer newbie does NOT WANT TO GO.

As to viewing this or replicating, try a search engine: type in: WindowsRegistry, hit enter.

Aproach registry with great caution. Huge unfixable mistakes can be easily made there.

Registry is the integrity of your browser. Registry contains all your system files, and moves them with a certain reason.

Any changes made to registry are important and possibly in regard to system stability.....critical.

This is a tech HARD HAT AREA.

It logs stuff on your pc including important settings for programs or even hardwares too. You can open it by clicking 'Run' on start button and typing 'regedit' or you can find registry editor (regedit) in windows folder in your hard drive.

I don't know what you're looking for, but I don't know too much about it either.
