Both are good, in their own ways. In my opinion Steven Gerrard is cute and he is effective as a captain and has alot of potential as a player. Lionel Messi needs more experience, only time will tell if Messi is better, he's still young

Steven Gerrard is more older and he have more experience than Messi. But Mess shall with time become more and more better. Steven and Mess are in some things same but very difficult. Messi is about 20 year old and he have to much things to learn but Gerrard is almost by the end your carrier he is older. BUT BOTH OF THEM ARE GOOD AND EVERY FOOTBALL CLUB WONT TO HAVE in your team. good luck Steven and Messi. For me is of course STEVEN FROM LIVERPOOL FC

Your brother is right Gerrard rocks. He saved Liverpool in two finals one against AC Milan in Chapions League finals when they were 0 - 3 down and was involved in 2 goals in 4 minutes and the other one against West Ham in FA Cup Finals which West Ham almost won but Gerrard scored a winner from the midfield in stoppage time to equalise and helped Liverpool to win in penalties. Skill comes before cuteness.

I think lionel Messi is a better player than Stevie G bcoz he has got lot more skills in dribbling and has got good speed than Stevie G.Steven Gerard is a good tackler than Messi and is he is better in shooting department But overall i think Messi can win lot more games than Stevie G.I wud prefer Messi before Gerard If im told to select a squad.

It is not a right question to ask who's better, leo or stevie, as it is not appropriate to compare between these two players. Firstly, each of them have different roles in the pitch. Secondly, stevie is already at his peak, definitely he is playing better now than when he was younger. For leo, he got potential to be one of the football greats like pele for example. But he still got a long way to go as he is still young. He got a lot more to learn and to mature along the way.
Last but not least, football is not about looks, its all about talent. Ronaldinho is the perfect example.

English vice captain and of course the captain of liverpool
yes leo messi is a good striker but he is still very young
He doesnt have a lot of experience
He cud b very dangerous if he reaches 25 the age of stevie
But i shud agree in one thing tat messi has a lot of potential as compared to gerrard
and he is morr fast than gerrard

Stevie G. of course.He is more versatile and inspirational.And he has been proving his worth for the past few seasons.Lionel Messi is good and has all the makings of a great player but its too early to say.And what makes you think Messi is cute?
