Aside from going to a fertility clinic and having multiple embryos implanted in you, no. It's the luck of the draw. Some people are genetically predisposed to having multiples. If your mother had twins as did her mom, and one of her sisters, or your sister, then your chances of having twins is definitely higher than normal. If your husband's side of the family is full of multiples it plays absolutely NO part in if you're going to have multiples or not. It's either you release more than one egg at a time, or for some reason, the egg splits into separte embryos. Hope that answers some questions. =)

3 ways

1) in vitro fertilization - can u say...you need a lot of money for that?

2) wait till you're 40. (older women are more likely to have twins/tripplets etc then younger) don't know why

3), take fertility drugs

good luck, but just remember, with multiple births, also comes more bad stuff like early delivery, twin to twin transfusion, and it's way harder on your body, and you are also more likely to miscarry.

Take Clomid, which will stimulate overy production. Could do IVF, but expensive. I did both and got two single births the first two times and the third time got tripplets (transferred two eggs with the hopes of at least one taking, and got three! One of the two eggs split to be become twins-so I had tripplets).
