Well, i'm a pakistani living in the middle east and one thing that connects me to the arab world is my religion - Islam.

What Iran wants is to walk on the paths of religion. It dislikes the US form of politics and govermental rules. Iran has never been a threat to the arab world but to the U.S.

The whole world knows that muslims never went to war on their own - only when they were oppressed for too long. And since there are so many muslim countries in the world, there should be a seperate UN kind of sitting of the muslim countries.

But unfortunately, all muslim countries including my own has shaken hands with US. I'm proud of Iran for standing up for what it is and not being scared of the US. Cuz US is not the "Super-Power", Allah is. and soon everyone will find out.

USA can bomb Iran, together with her nuclear ambitions, into oblivion in an instant with Intercontinental Ballistic Missiles (ICBMs). The only thing stopping her is the civilian casualties and the immorality of launching them.

If you notice more closely, Israel only attacks when provoked (eg. the recent Israel-Lebanon war), therefore, it is not a threat. Arabs think that Israel is a threat because they relate Israel's wars of defence to that of a religious one. Similiarly, people in the Western countries think Iran is a threat to Israel and world stability because Mr. Mahmoud Ahmadinejad had expressed his desire to see Israel being 'wiped off the ...' and that he had, reportedly, obtained fuel for enriching uranium, which could, in turn, be used to create either energy or deadly nuclear weapons.

To Huda Alee: If the Muslims pride themselves on standing up to USA and Israel, they will never prosper and be always on the edge of development! Look at Lebanon. If the Hizbollah had not kidnapped Israeli soldiers, none of the **** would had happened in Lebanon.

(Though I must admit, I despise USA's crappy foreign policies)

huda is right imo ... the only thing that is threatened by iran is the US plans to dominate the entire middle east ... and a nuclear armed iran would be a major hindrance ... hence, iran must either be brought into line with US policy either by cooperation and treaty with the US, which is unlikely, or the US will have to continue to villify possibly to the point of staging another false-flag terror attack on its own citizens thereby implicating iran, to justify a full-scale attack.
