I'm with the first poster on this one.

Who ever got Gates, Mcnabb, Moss and Champ is clearly the winner of this trade. Gonzalez i think is over-rated and Larry Johnson has not proven much so far going into week 4 and with the Chiefs losing out on some key O-linemen, it doesn't look like he will replicate what he did last season. Mcnabb is on fire as of late, Gates is a solid TE regardless of the chargers new strategy of throwing the ball 10 times a game. Moss and their new offensive system seems to be gelling now, but can't pass judgment just off of them beating the awfull Texans. And Champ is Champ, one of the clear shut down corners of the NFL.

Unless you are a KC fan I would question it. Without Trent Green and Willie Roaf it might be a disappointing season for both.

On the flip side McNabb is doing great.
Gates is missing Brees,
Moss is under performing,
Bailey is not getting thrown at, so he is lacking in the points department

Way too early to guess if this is a good trade

It depends on which players you received and what positions you needed. If you got LJ and needed help in the running game it's not too bad, as long as you have a good back up QB. Bailey is easily replaced, Moss isn't playing well, and in my opinion Gates and Gonzo are a wash. LJ isn't playing bad. He just hasn't scored. He was leading the league in yards from scrimmage before the bye week. He will get in the end zone. So I think the trade works either way as long as you filled a need and didn't completely deplete any positions.

i hope you gave up LJ and gonzalez.

this trade is lopsided. LJ has yet to prove himself this year behind a shaky line and without a QB. gonzalez is the same as LJ, hes got no one to throw to him.

mcnabb is having the best year of any QB so far, Gates isthe best TE in NFL, santaana moss is a number 1 reciever who doesnt have a great B but makes up for it with yards after catch and champ bailey is the best CB in the NFL.

so which side did you get?

Smart for the person who gave up Johnson and Gonzalez. Larry Johnson will disapoint many ppl this year with a very subpar season.

this is a one sided trade, mcnabb is flying high this year throwing for 300 yards a game, LJ hasnt really done anything to prove himself this year and gonzalez really wont put up any numbers until trent green gets back.
