I really think I've had a miscarriage, but no one is here to take me to the hospital .. My husband does not come home for another 24 hours , and Im scared to call 911 cuz they'll probably just say go to a gyno tomarrow .. Do you think they'll send me an ambulance because Im not serious hurt or injured?

If you call 911 depending on your location I am pretty sure they do have to send out an ambulance it may cost you though. If it would be possible I would find someone else to take me. You do need to go to the hospital. When you have a miscarriage there is a tissue that is sometimes left inside you and they have to remove it and if it is not removed it can cause a infection that is painful. Also if you are still bleeding it is a big emergancy because you may be losing to much blood

I'm an EMT and believe, you can call 911 for anything! Call them!We've actually had people call just because they wanted a ride somewhere. They call the ambulance, they go to the hospital, they deny being seen and then they're released! Presto, they're where they want to be! This is a ligitimate reason to call 911 so go ahead and call! and shame on your husband for not coming home anyways!! of course unless he's in another state I mean...

Yes, call 911 or if you want to avoid the ambulance fee and think you'll be okay, you can call a taxi to take you to the hospital but, you definitely need to go to the hospital.

if you know your pregnant and the cramps are so bad and your bleeding then yes your having a miscarriage. You need to have a DNC asap. Take a taxi cab if you can handle the pain without fainting. Also that is what 911 is for, to help people.

Go ahead and call. The dispatcher can give you the advice you need. Most rescue services only charge you if they actually transported you to the hospital. The call is free, though... Good luck and I'm sorry you are having such trouble. I will think of you often. Please e mail me to let me know how you are. I will worry about this all night. Just can't imagine having a miscarriage, and know you are scared.

If you are pregnant and experiencing pain and/or vaginal bleeing CALL 911!!! Yes, they will take you to and ED.
