I was in high school playing football, friday night, under the lights.
I had a sensation in my stomache that spread to the rest of my body.

Suddenly, my legs felt light and fast and I could feel I could fly.

The first blocker from the other team came at me and bam! he was on the ground. Then a second, then a third and they were on the ground too. Then the fullback hit me from a running start with all his force-Whap! and he was sprawling helpless on the field.

Finally, I was hit by the ball carrier with all his strength, shoulder pads digging into my chest. I stood there amidst the devestation not swayed at all by the force of hit.

I grabbed him near the chest, spun him once and threw him to the ground.

The whistle blew. I stood there for a moment, looked to the other team's sidelines and saw fear in their eyes.

11 yard loss my linebacker said as he was jumping up and down like he's just seen the greatest thing in the world.

I was on my way home after an evening out and it was late.
I was riding in a streetcar (Like a bus with metal wheeles). The driver stopped to pick up a fair. The guy that got on was a little tipsy, but this was not a problem. As we continued on our way the guy kept talking more with himself then to anyone else and would laugh now and then at what he was saying. Then he laughed a little longer the before by 5-10 seconds. Well it was contagious and soon everyone was laughing. It was as if we could not help it. We were laughing so hard that the street car driver had to stop the street car in the middle of the road so that he and we could all recover. We laughed for close to ten minutes straight. What a great feeling. My thought afterwords was I can only wonder what other drivers thought as they passed us.

Watching the father of one of our students rush into Ria with a smile that spread half way round the globe on his face and wings under his feet . Why? Because we had phoned to say we had found someone to pay for his 5 year old daughter's hearing aids!
Nothing in life had ever prepared me for how that felt!
