boy did some people give you some awfull advice
i don't think it's a good idea to have sex ONLY during the time u ovulate.
first of all, that takes all the fun out of sex
next, if u get stressed about trying to conceive, then that decreases your chances
best advice is to have sex 3 times a week (except when you menstruate as that can cause infection)
the reason for doing it three times a week is simple: sperm lives 3-4 days while the egg lives only 12 to 24 hours. so by doing it three times a day, you've covered your bases. don't do it every single day because after he ejaculates once for the first time, the second day won't have so many sperm count because it takes a day or so for sperm to regenerate.

i guarantee it if u ahve sex 3 times a week, one of those days you WILL ovulate and the sperm will get to gether with the egg.

also, leave the sperm in for 20 minutes or so.

Kinda a weird scenario but I did not use protection during the first 6 months of my marriage. I didn't understand why I never got pregnant. Not that I was trying. When I finally did get pregnant, my Dr. figured it out! My husband takes hot baths and it decreases his sperms count. So make sure your mate isn't taking hot baths or going in hot tubs all the time. That will help for starters! Good Luck!

Make sure your spouse does not wear snug briefs or tight jeans= the heat lowers the sperm count= follow a healthy life style.Know when you ovulate-it is usually mid cycle= and there are ovulation predictors-even at dollar tree for a dollar- cheap. Take vitamins w folate- skip alcohol-best bet for baby health. D

People never believe this (Don't try) until they get to that point when they stop trying so hard. And then they get pregnant. Your body needs to be in good health, and your partner too. I saw a great book on healthy pregnancy here;

well i know how people who DON'T want to get pregnant always end up pregnant...
1) have sex while you are ovulating (hopefully you know when that is).
2) forget taking your birth control (that makes you super fertile)
3)don't use the bathroom immediately after sex (pushes it all back out).

check your ovulation date, if you had sex near or on it u may be, wait until your next period is due then take a HPT, or if you cant wait that long try a brand called first response, on one of the packets it has, that you can take it up to 5 days before your period, and it clams to be 99% accurate, i swear by it... good luck

Have sex! Lots of sex! LOL! No but seriously, after you have sex try staying laid down. That way the sperm has time to travel instead of it all coming out. Also they say that doggy-style can help because it goes right to the uterus area! Hope you find success!! Goodluck and have fun!
