My son did the exact same thing. His turned into colic with the gas and screaming. His started at 2mts. You can purchase some "little tummies" at walmart or any walgreens, and being that young, they can take it. It will releave their gas. To go further, I gave my son a home remedy I heard of..... I gave him a candy cane. I rubbed it on his lips and tounge for no more than 3 or 4 minutes 5 times a day. It soothed his stomach within a day. The doctor also told me they never suggest home remedies, but the candy cane would not hurt him. Its like a breath mint after dinner for adults!

Go out and buy him some of those bag bottles and some gas drops. Mix the drops in every bottle you give him and push out as much air from the bottle as possible. That should do the trick. My son was the same way, and that's what I did. I hope it works for you're sake and the baby's because it's not a good feeling.
Let me know how it goes!!!
Remember the baby is only 1 month old if this doesn't work see a doctor.

I went through the same thing with my daughter. First of all we used Similac Isomil. That worked perfect for her. As far as the constipation goes, my daughter has always been constipated since birth and is till this day now 18 months. What helped her when she was younger was putting a bit of karo dark syrup in her bottle along with formula. (doctor told me to do it) Also for the colic, I found that the best bottle was the playtex vent-aire! Also my mom used to give my daughter chamomille tea when she had a stomach ache. Very warm but not too hot to burn her mouth. That always worked also. You can also try the Mylicon drops or Little Tummy's we used to always use that also!

First off, whatever you ingest, she does too. Juice may not agree with her belly, or something else you are eating or drinking may not agree with her. My son is on the bottle now and 2 1/2 months old but when he goes to toot, he still gets mad and fusses! Mylicon is supposed to be safe enough to give with every feeding. That's what the bottle says because I swear by it! It doesn't necessarily make the gas go away, it just helps relieve it in their lil tummies. And my son just toots alot normally anyway! :) I think the older he gets, the more he toots! Anyhow, with breastfeeding just because it doesn't give you gas doesn't mean it won't them. I ran into that with my son when I was breastfeeding, I couldn't take it anymore. Oh yea I heard about that Gripe Water too...I used the nausea stuff from the same makers of it! It worked great so maybe that will too!

First off I would not suggest any sort of juice for such a small baby! I think you need to change your formula to find a suitable one. Also your bottles, my cousin has tried nuk and avent and the avent came out tops because she also had the same probs. I breast feed my baby and even she had a problem. I have spoken to my doctor and he says it is normal for a new born baby to battle to poop. My baby only use to poop every 4 days when she was a baby. Don't stress yourself out too much, it does pass and they do grow out of it. My baby is now 6 months old and she has healthy poop once a day. Good Luck

For the gas, I recommend using Mylacon drops. These drops get rid of gas in seconds and are completely safe to give to babies from birth. As for the problems pooping, ask your doctor to test him for an intestinal infection. My neice was having the same problem for over a month before she was finally tested. She had a severe infection in her intestines that made it difficult and very painful to poop. This is potentially very serious. I do not mean to scare you, but it is better to be safe than sorry. I hope he feels better very soon!! Best of luck to you.

Might need to try a laxative with him or in the baby section they have this stuff for gas I am not sure the name of it but I now Target carries it. Or maybe he has something more going on in his little belly, might want to see if the doc can do some type of test to see if everything is working right.

Acete de mancinilla rub it to he's tummy after taking a bath, before he sleeps and when he wakes up in the morning. this helps take away the tummy ache for babies and childrens. Its colored green liquid looks like efficasint oil(not very good speller). They usually have it in drugstores. Also give him more liquid and switching to lacto free formula might help. Lactose intolerant also contributes to constipation and gas for your info.

For gas use Mylcon, if he is having trouble going to potty use baby suppositories of maybe and enema. When they are that young their body is still trying to regulate it's self. My son started going once a day at 2 months. Try enfamil, I found that it works best. I hope this helps. If you ever have a question just email me at midnightbutterfly06@yahoo.com.

Oh, poor`baby-I feel for you both.I have used a homeopathic called Humphries- it was good for teethin and pain- I would make sure he does not suck air when getting his bottle and burp him well- sometime rubbing below the belly button helps to get the gas out-day care trick! Mylicon is great` for gas-maybe he is allergic or sensitive to soy- it is common-let pediatriciam know-take care=D
