Didn't we all come from that same blob of tissue? (BY the way whoever told you that its a blob of tissue lied to you because a heartbeat can be detected two weeks after conception and this "blob of tissue" looks very well like a human being). And for those of you who think that a fetus is a piece of flesh with a heartbeat, we were all once "pieces of flesh" with heartbeats.

Absolutely right on. Also the brain is fully developed at 11 weeks along. (not even 3 months) People get abortions up to 6 months and later! That is killing.
On the other hand, you don't exist until you realize that you do. So at least the babies don't have to realize pain. And ultimately it is the woman's decision. Bad one as it may be. They have to live with that.
I am wondering why the excuse sometimes is that they cannot live with having a child somewhere out in the world that they don't know. So how can they live with killing one???

I feel abortion is murder, and that all life, even that of a fetus, is valid. But maybe I'm still too young and naive to know any better. I don't know. The more research I do, the more I feel that life starts at conception, and throughout mitosis. But I cannot force my views on others. I can only teach them with my actions. And who knows if my actions are right? How could I kill someone who is a part of me, who is living because of me, who needs me to live. I don't know about rape, I've never been there, I can't judge, i wish this on no one. But what fault does the baby have, that his mother had been raped.And Please those who are not victims but only careless, use the morning after pill, it doesn't destroy anything, and take contraceptives and use protection, or just don't do it if you wont be responsible.

Yes, you are absolutely right. It is a tiny human with a heartbeat and wouldn't it be great if everyone believed that and everyone wanted every baby that was ever conceived and gave it a loving home with everything it ever desired and needed?
However, that being is not viable outside of the womb until much later in its life. It cannot survive at 2 weeks after conception so many people don't consider it to be a baby yet. Saying that it looks human doesn't cut it, because baby monkeys in utero look human too...but yet you deny evolution, right?
People need to agree to disagree and leave it at that. If people are going to hell for having an abortion it is their choice. You can't force people to believe what you believe just because you think it's right. Can't we all just be happy knowing we have faith in whatever WE personally believe in and stop trying to show others the "error of their ways" when they're not interested in your way anymore than you are in theirs?

I agree with you. I really don't like the idea of the Court system reversing Roe v Wade, because I don't believe it is the government's business to interfere with what I do with my body (whether that be taking birth control pills, having an abortion or whatnot)...It scares me how conservative the Supreme Court is again, and I worry that one of our fundamental rights to the privacy and integrity of our bodies is at stake. I commend you for making such a tough decision. I can't even imagine how difficult that must have been, but I am so glad that you had the opportunity to choose. I only hope that that avility remains open to all other women.

obviously, you haven't seen pictures of fetuses, have you. a fetus looks nothing like a human until about the time it can survive on its own outside the womb.Besides, Abortion is none of your business, since abortion is strictly between the woman and her Doctor. People with penises have no say in the matter. Don't like it, get a sex change!

Why does it matter to you? Do you have a uterus? Can you get an abortion? No? Cram it. It's between a woman and her body. Not a man with a penis. Men don't understand. Men don't get it. They don't have any right to tell us women what to do, just like we don't tell men to have their testicals removed for birthcontrol.
Stuff it. Fetuses don't look like babies at two weeks. You need to do your research.

and if your raped?
or you use technology and find out very early on that the fetus, due to a defect has absolutely no chance at a quality of life that is considered to be anywhere near normal? Would you want to raise a child that can't even retain simple information like his/her own name? know that he/she will never have friends/job/family of their own some day which is what every parent hopes for their child?
