Love is not unconditional, especially if you think someone was in love with you and you cheated. I have to wonder why someone would have something like "yo sum *** dude" whatever you have under your name/picture, if you think that's cute or hip or funny then you're stupider than you look or sound.

They stopped loving the person long before they cheated. And if it were true unconditional love, there would be no cheating at all. It's not possible. In order to cheat, you would have to have conditions on love that in your mind were not met.

Unconditional love sounds nice, however in today's society love is more conditional than not. People stop loving people when they cheat on their partners because they are dishonest. Cheaters can be helped with therapy. Cheating is very dangerous. Choose the wrong partner and your time on earth may be very short.

Unconditional love is more a goal than a reality.
the love of a parent for a child comes closer to being unconditional than the love between a couple.
So it is a waste of time to ask "why" starting with the assumption of unconditional love. but ignoring that, Why do people stop loving people when they cheat.
Let us assume the male cheated. Yes, i know that is a sexist assumption, and not fair, but it is silly for me to try to talk about 2 people, X and Y.
The woman may feel used, unvalued, disrespected. If she expresses how bad the cheating makes her feel, and the male continues to cheat, the female can only assume that the male does not value her or her feelings. that he chooses to do cheat knowing that it will cause her emotional pain.
It is not healthy love to stay with someone who willingly and repeatedly causes you pain.

if we reverse the sexes, and it is the woman who cheated, we get to the same point. Why should the male stay with a mate who CHOOSES to cause him emotional pain?

love can be unconditional,but everybody is different.some people can love unconditionally,others cannot.most people who have been cheated on,feel hurt and betrayed by the ones who cheated on them.trust is violated and trust is a major part of any relationship.in most cases i would say that people don't stop loving when a person cheats but they stop trusting.it is not easy for most people to forgive and forget when trust is broken.

Love can be unconditional but more oftne than not love is said to be unconditional and it is not. Now a days love comes with more conditions than getting a loan!

Love from your parents and family is unconditional.
It means no matter how many mistakes u make they will always still love u.
From your partner it is just love. It feels better than the love for your mom, but thats just coz your use to her being around.

Not all people stop loving their spouse when they are cheated. They get hurt yes and sometimes their relationship goes to the brink of separation. But when things are resolved, and when the offender is really sorry and the partner really forgives, the relationship becomes even more stronger.
Of course, there is a scar that is left, but if both party are wise, they will avoid touching on those scars that could only spark hurt feelings.

It's kind of like this...why should I give my love unconditionally to a person who does not love me unconditionally like he says? He betrayed that unconditional love, and made it that way. That's why it's hard to get over cheaters if you love them that much. Only true love is unconditional, from both sides.

the only love that is unconditional is that of a mother for her child.all other love is conditional - when you betray and hurt someone by cheating, that is a really clear sign that they dont love YOU!
