Unique.

The good things make the best of things great, just as the perfect things are a model and goal for those things that can only reach imperfect states. But as for something that is unique there comes to mind two thoughts, nothing, which is wrapped in its own mystery, and God, which is beyond the scope of man's judgment. And since nothing is nothing, it seems like only God is unique.

Duh :P
That's easy!

You describe it based on the effect it has on things other than itself.

Even things we cannot perceive with our senses can be 'measured/described' in this way... because even if we cannot see something, we can know it exists in some fashion based on the way the world reacts around it. We then use those reactions to describe the nature of the "thing".

Like magnets and iron filings. You can't sense the magnet force, or the properties of it, and thefore cannot compare or describe it since you don't even know itse there... Until you cause it to react with something that will be attracted or repelled by the force.

You then describe the magnetic field as 'strong' or 'weak' based on how many iron filings it can attract. You also describe the polarity of the magnet using the same process of observing a reaction.

Say "It has no equal or comparison." And depending on what that something is, I would attempt to describe it the best I could.

You would only be able to describe it using your senses, or how it makes you feel.
