i'm nonetheless attempting to locate the question in here. besides the element, I only grew to become 15 at present and that i basically hear to that stuff whilst i'm in my sister's automobile. the only band who I even have the whole discography for is Led Zeppelin. I actually have a field set of Jimmi Hendrix's stay and unrecorded/recorded song. I hate a great number of the rap different than Jay Z, and that i'm an avid fan of NWA. the only way you isn't disenchanted is that in case you basically shot damn mouth and supply up giving a damn approximately issues you won't be in a position to alter. it is what it extremely is and each thing is open to interpretation. See as quickly as all those products is long gone, which I doubt would be quickly, the song it fairly is made, even no be counted if it extremely is mildly first rate, human beings will think of it extremely is genius and the main suitable artwork considering Van Halen. yet heavily you wrote a protracted essay in this subject be counted yet there is not a single question of their, basically a team of question marks interior the incorrect place.

I don't know enough about today's music, I'm stuck in the punk/new wave/alternative jag of the late 70's to early 90's.( along with other eras, but primairly the above listed)

I do enjoy bands like Built to Spill, Modest Mouse, Grandaddy, and the Kaiser Chiefs though.

I guess you have to hunt and peck. To find out what music NOT to listen to watch the grammies and listen to commerical radio.
Go from there.

Yep, it sucks all right. That's a apt metaphor because another word for suction is vacuum, and we sure have had a musical vacuum for several years now. I don't foresee an end to the musical suction, either. Sad.

I've been thinking that, but then again, I'm the type of gal that prefers music from before she was born and slightly afterwards. Was born 1972 and love the music from 50's-70's.

90% of today's music sucks and it's been that way for the past 10 years, the best music happened in the 70's/80's.

That could just be the most absurde and stupidest question i have heard. You would think that back in the 70's older people would say the same thing bout bands like led zepplin. Etc. even to mozarts day. And include details with what you say. jesus christ son. Also music can never be judged by bad or good. And anyone who says yes is about as stupid as you are for they have no idea what the definition for music is.

Yes!
Why do we adore rappers that have criminal records?
Why do we adore people who speak of emotions that they have never felt?
Music is supposed to be expression of the soul!
We need to get back to that.
Not about all the screw ups that have been made...................
