I'll tell you why in layman terms. When you look like brad pitt you get pussy like pathrow, anniston, etc thrown at you all the time. You get to the point where wasp pussy bores you to death. So like every other male, you begin to excersise your options. If you 're used to top notch trim then pulling some hillbilly pussy with a nice rack isn't much of a stretch. Jenn smothered him & her bio clock was ticking. He wasn't used to the same chick for a long period of time so he broke it off for the hollywood wild child.

im guessing here..but probably right though..
brad wanted for them to start a family but since jen is in a height of movie career that hit her instantly, she ignore brad's idea for the most meaningful event in their married life. she choose the career over the family life.
since brad is not getting any younger anymore and really loves children, he cater to angie's adopted kid. since they attached to each other and treated as a friend, they both cling to one another. jen didn't like that idea, she went above & beyond, accuse brad of infidelity and brad left her.
in turn, brad and angie stays closer, then jen file for the divorce and that is when everything come out in the open that brad wanted to be a father bad and angie is willing to give him what he wanted.

maybe jen is unable to have a baby, they both know it so they just parted friends?
