put nail polish remover on a Q-tip. That's what I do.
I hate dark nail polish. It's so hard to remove it. make sure you have the right nail polish remover. there's are differnt kinds out there. make sure it's the one with 100% based accetone in it.
also try soaking your feet in some warm water for 5-10 min dry your toes and then repeat.

I would suggest getting a better quality nail polish remover, also try painting you nails as a clear coat first that way the colour wont absorb into your toe nails and make it difficult to come off.

just file it off with with a fine file or even a lightly coarse one, then go over it with a fine one. if you would like, first try to put nailpolish remover on a cottonball and hold it tight onto the spot. then, wipe harder as you move it away from the spot (this works if it's glitter nail polish)

You need the kind with acetone. It's rough on your nails and skin, but it will remove the polish. You do need to scrub to remove it.

Acetone nail polish and cotton wool and effort.
If there is residue, you could use a buffer and buff it off.
