Apart from the meaning of 'singular' and plural, it denotes for 'i' is restricted to individual and the area is restricted, whereas 'we' refers to number of persons and the area is wide. For any projects to be completed successfully "We" holds greater importance than "I".

"I" is a singular pronoun." We" is plural.
Since you might be simple, judging by the question; singular means one (person in this case) and plural means more than one (person).
In a more base analogy, "I" has only one letter and "we" has two.

When you say I, it means one or yourself and when you say we, it involves two or more like a group. For instance I just told you something and I could say John and I, then I could say we instead.

My prime decision to answer this question is: I want the Yahoo family, you and me. that is, we should participate in question and answer. When you think of 'we' your selfishness of 'I' disappears.
